Tour Description
We will meet at Wasicleta at 9 am. From where we will start our mountain biking adventure. We will go by van all the way to Maras After you reach Maras, your bike adventure will start. This is a great tour for most people as the paths are a combination of downhill and challenging small hills. Along our way we will enjoy of stunning views, of the Andean glaciers After your bike adventure, your tour guide will take you to the incredible circular terraces of Moray (Entrance not included). After visiting Moray we will take you to our private cooking laboratory in Maras where you will experience an Andean picnic lunch. After lunch, we will take you off the beaten path to Maras, a typical Andean village. Here you will explore the streets and get a sense that you are walking during the time of the Incas as the culture has remained almost intact. The people continue to wear traditional clothing and the town is lined with historical buildings. You will then have an opportunity to visit the salt terraces of Maras, to see and learn about an ancient pre-Incan method of producing salt.
Lake Kayaking optional: This tour also allows you to have a wonderful one hour adventure at the amazing Waypo lake, which has great views of the snow mountains and glaciers of the Sacred Valley. 30 USD extra per person -
